We just upgraded to WordPress 2.1 and everything seems to feel snappier and more polished. Barring any security vulnerabilities, I think this release is poised to become a great version. What do you think?
But be sure to backup before you upgrade. Backup, backup!

Because of the recent events involving most of my other weblogs as well as the general trend on weblog publishing these days, the supposed scope of this site/weblog may soon change. Yes, even before it starts rolling.
Actually, “scope expansion” would be a better word for things to come. Instead of a limited set of discussions on geeky topics, we’ll do everything. Talk everything. Walk everything?
Let’s just say this could be everything2everyone.

webworker wannabe will be a weblog focused on web professionals and workers weaving the world wide web. Primarily, this site can be regarded as a “webmastering” resource, dealing with all aspects of the job. We’ll be talking about design and markup and stylesheets, just as much as we would dabble in search engine optimization and marketing. We’ll dive into backend programming and site management as well. Basically, we’ll talk about everything important to a web worker.
Let’s go!

Hello world — a message that often begins a life of programming and computing. For this weblog, this will hopefully be the beginning of something big and useful, something fun and engaging.
For now, hello world.
